Lake Baringo Lad on an Ambach, Rift Valley Kenya
Reed boats used on Lake Baringo are constructed from Ambach reeds, fat
shore plants with pulpy balsa-like interiors. Boats are used for
hand-line and net fishing and typically last a year before being
replaced.
