African Hare- Masai Mara Kenya
We noted several African Hares in Mara North last weekend. Populations typically oscillate with predator/prey driven highs and lows. In Canada, the Lynx/Hare cycle is between 8-11 years, with hare numbers varying up to 25-fold (http://www.britannica.com/blogs/2011/06/rise-fall-canada-lynx-snowshoe-hare/).
