Colobus Monkey, Mt. Kenya
An interesting monkey; the Colobus is strictly vegetarian, has a stomach that can hold a weight of food equal to the monkey's (empty) body-weight, and has a hand with four fingers and no thumb. It also has a lightweight skeleton and an effective parachute made up of a tail and mantle of long white fur- as shown here. 15 foot (5m) leaps are all in a days travel.
Amazing. I didn't know these monkeys "flew" through the air like that.
