Gikururu Falls- Aberdare Mountains, Kenya
The Gikururu river has it's source at over 12,000 ft (4000m) in the moorlands of the Aberdares range in central Kenya. It's clear (though slightly peat-stained) cold water supports a thriving Brown Trout population which was first introduced in the 1890's from Europe via South Africa.
