ReplyDeleteThere are only 20 Fish Eagles left at Baringo, due to Furadan poisoning. This one is Red 23, a female from Samatian Island-her mate was poisoned 6 years ago, and has yet to find another. I have banded about 10 of the 20 eagles there in the past 18 months or so.
