Lion Cub, Masai Mara Kenya
This cub is about 5 months old. Lions become sexually mature at around 4 years, live between 10 and 14 years (females live significantly longer than combative males) and after 110 days gestation have up to 4 cubs per litter.

Yellow Winged Bats, Masai Mara Kenya
I was lucky to spot this cluster of three Yellow-Winged Bats as we drove through some scrub in the Mara. They are a type of 'leaf-nosed bats', insectivorous and preferring the sort of semi-arid scrub-land I found them in.
