Tiny Wasp- Nairobi Kenya
A tiny wasp all of 8mm long explores the landscape of a leaf. The human eye can't see most of this detail- at least not my eyes! I often only discover what I've photographed later- on the computer screen.

Backyard Macros- Praying Mantis.
Safaris have been few and far between recently due to the extended and
intense long rains we are experiencing here in Kenya, so I've been
brushing up on my macro photography. A small Olympus 'Tough' TG-2
point-and-shoot camera has proven quite handy in getting up close and
personal with insects.
