Topi- Masai Mara Kenya
Two Topi (Damaliscus korrigum) in a typical pose atop a grassy termite mound in the Mara. Topi are among the fastest of African antelope, resident and territorial.

Young Von Hohnel's Chamelelon- Nairobi Kenya
Today it's a young Von Hohnels chameleon- from my back yard here in Nairobi. This chap is all of 4cm long from nose to back leg.

Balloon Eclipse- Sunrise in the Mara
The most we've counted is 14 hot air balloons in the air at once during a Mara sunrise. I'm pleased to say that the wildlife have become accustomed to their looming and intermittently fiery presence aloft.

Newborn Colobus Monkey, Mt. Kenya
Here's another young 'un- from the crop of 2013. A newborn colobus is pure white. They have no opposable thumb on their 'hands' - just a vestigial nub. The 'feet' have opposable big toes- as seen here.
