Young Lesser Egret- Lake Baringo Kenya

Rising waters have provided some new nesting sites in drowned shoreline trees around Lake Baringo, as well as allowing access into the colonies by boat. Great White Pelican- Nakuru Kenya

A Great White Pelican defies gravity over Lake Nakuru. Due to increased water levels, decreased salinity and an absence of suitable algae, Lake Nakuru's famed flamingos have migrated elsewhere- most to Ethiopia actually. Many other species of waterfowl have flocked in to replaced them.
